The Ogun State Government has approved the completion of all abandoned housing projects embarked upon by the previous administration.

The Commissioner for Housing, Mr. Daniel Adejobi, who disclosed this in a statement made available by the Public Relations Officer in the ministry,

Miss Seun Oyelade, said the intention of the government was to complete the construction of the houses and hand them over to the subscribers.

The commissioner implored subscribers, who had deposited some money for the houses, to complete payment in order for the units to be

allocated to them after completion.

He explained that the ministry would use direct labour for the construction process as this would create jobs for the citizens, especially artisans.

According to him, the creation of employment is part of the focus of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led-government and the ministry would leave no

stone unturned to achieve this.

The commissioner was quoted as saying that all the three senatorial districts of the state would benefit from the government’s housing delivery

efforts.

Adejobi urged interested home owners to open an account with Primary Mortgage Institutions in the state and start saving in order to benefit from

the houses constructed by the government, adding that the deeds of assignment of the Workers’ Estate, Laderin, had been signed by all the

occupiers, while the final documents would soon come out.
